Robert LeBlanc

Robert LeBlanc, professor emeritus of geography, B.A. (University of New Hampshire) Ph.D. (University of Minnesota), retired 1999. Specialist in cultural geography and Canadian studies. Died age 70 in crash of United Airlines Flight 175 during the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
LeBlanc was honored as a Whiting Foundation Fellow in 1983 and received the Distinguished Service Award of the New England Geography Society in 1988.
