Mark Bavis (March 13, 1970-September 11, 2001) was a scout for the professional hockey team, the Los Angeles Kings. He lived in West Newton, Massachusetts. He attended Boston University. His twin brother Michael Bavis works there as an assistant coach of their hockey team.

He died at age 31 during the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks while on board United Airlines Flight 175. He was survived by his mother, his brother Michael, and his brother.

Bavis, along with Garnet Bailey (another passenger on Flight 175), is mentioned in the Boston-based Dropkick Murphys song "Your Spirit's Alive."
