Joseph Berry

Joseph J. Berry, age 55, died in the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. He was a resident of Saddle River, New Jersey.

Joseph Berry grew up in Woodhaven, Queens. He attended Molloy High School. He received his BA in Economics and Math from Queens College and his MBA from St. John's University. He was Chairman and Co-CEO of Keefe, Bruyette and Woods, Inc.. He had been honored twice as one of the top fifty Irishmen on Wall Street by Irish America Magazine.

He was married to Evelyn Berry for 31 years and resided in Saddle River, New Jersey. He and his wife had three children. Despite his busy schedule he was the kind of father who always had time for his family. He coached nearly every team his children were on throught their childhood.

On September 11, 2006 he was honored at the blog IR1 as part of the 2,996 Tribute project.
