From September 11 Memories

Jump to: navigation, search

Gerald F. Hardacre was a retired environmental engineer and resident of Carlsbad, California. He helped make San Diego a cleaner, better place to live, according to his brother Larry.

He died at age 61 during the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks while on board United Airlines Flight 175.

He was survived by his wife, Judith, daughters Colleen and Kristen and brother Larry, and sister-in-law Gretchen.

He was a wonderful man who loved his family very much and had a heart of gold. He would have done anything for anyone and we know that he did whatever he could on this flight to help everyone on this plane and avoid what these monsters did.
