Garnet Bailey
From September 11 Memories
Garnet Bailey (June 13, 1948 - September 11, 2001)
Nicknamed "Ace of Bailey-Baisse", Garnet played 11 seasons in the National Hockey League team Boston Bruins. He then was a scout for 20 years, the last 7 being the director of professional scouting for the Los Angeles Kings.
He lived in Lynnfield, Massachusetts with his wife Kathy and son Todd.
He was popular among friends and family for his "Bailey-Baisse" dish. It consisted of meat (tenderloin tips, chicken, pork chops, sausages), sauteed, then baked with onions and tomatoes.
He took a Los Angeles flight (United 175) from Boston that struck the World Trade Center.
