Rev. Francis Grogan, C.S.C., 76, of North Dartmouth, Massachusetts, was killed in the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. A veteran of World War II, Fr. Grogan entered the Congregation of Holy Cross and was ordained a priest. Fr. Grogan served as director of admissions and registrar of Stonehill College, as a member of the Family Rosary Crusade in Madrid, as a parish priest, and as a chaplain and teacher at Holy Cross high schools. More recently, Fr. Grogan was parochial vicar at Holy Cross Church in Easton, Massachusetts and religious superior of Holy Cross Residence in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts. He was traveling to visit his sister in California when United Airlines Flight 175 was highjacked by terrorists and crashed into the World Trade Center.
