Ted (Edward M.) Hennessey (Jr.), a 1988 alumnus of Harvard University, was a consultant for Emergence Consulting in Belmont, Massachusetts. He was reported deceased on American Airlines Flight 11 which crashed during the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

Ted attended Belmont High School in Belmont, MA. Ted was very popular with his fellow students and was an active member of the school's Performing Arts Company (PAC). Ted loved the music of Devo and he also was an avid follower of many of the era's new wave artists.

Ted died at the youthful age of 35, leaving his wife Melanie and their two young children. Everybody who knew Ted was touched by his kindness, creativity as well as his loyalty and sense of humor.
